This talented man started modestly with a collection of pots, which were snapped up by one of the world’s most fashion forward department stores in 1993, Barneys. He had his own store in New York’s famed Soho five years later and is now in over 1,000 locations around the world. He’s an unstoppable force.

Gutsy, yet refined, the Vallauris Flying Bird Bowl is generous enough to rule a dining or cocktail table. An avian shape simplified with a nod to primitivism, crafted from high-fired stoneware with a rich oil drop glaze that creates a slightly mottled and reactive texture.
