In 1936, an architect, Alvar Aalto created his classic glass bowls. The Alvar Aalto collection for the Finnish brand, Iittala. Each bowl is mouth-blown at the Iittala Glassworks in Finland.

Fluid, organic shapes define the Alvar Alto Bowl, which is a spectacular blend of design brilliance and timelessness. And the craftsmanship is superb: it takes seven craftsmen, twelve work stages, 1100°c and thirty hours to make just one vase. It’s an object of pure joy, to treasure.
